[Robin jumps at the boom, not expecting the thunderous sound. For a second she thought a bomb had gone off, and instinctively pulls Raiden against her chest, wrapping her arms around him protectively, one arm around the blanket and another one around his shoulder with a hand on his head. It's not until he speaks again, lights flashing like crazy, that she realizes it was him. She looks down at him, having to squint due to the lights.]
....Is anything else going to happen th next time you sneeze?
[ She's squeezing him into her chest. Her protective, motherly, full and cushiony chest, and he's running on the idea that he's got something cool happening to his chi or chakras or whatever. Feeling a little lightheaded, Raiden makes very little movement in her arms, only trying to breathe and keeping his eyes shut momentarily. Whoa there, don't throw up. Don't throw up on sacred grounds. ]
Iiiiiiii . . . I dunno. I wish I didn't suck so much right nowwww.
[ At least, he smiles, finding comfort in the hold and giving a sniffle as the lights die down. ]
[At his innocent question, Robin smiles down at him.]
Of course.
[She loosens her grip on him, letting her arms hang loosely around his body. The hand on his head stays, and starts to pet his hair gently, combing her fingers through the tips. What a familiar feeling this was. His hair wasn't curly, but this whole set up made her feel like she was with her brother again. Ah, what was that song he always asked her to sing?
As she caresses him with her hand, her eyes close for a moment, and she starts to hum softly.]
[ Were his eyes getting heavy? Maybe it's all part of the blazing fever, his energy capsules needing a refill and just rest in general. He needed rest to feel better, rest to wake up in completely different spirits—
The song is so, so nice, and the comfort against him is even more so. Something he had missed, something every being needs at least once in a while. From one moment to the next, Raiden seems to be breathing just a little deeper, eyes shut, and taking a snooze, the song taking him into dreamland and to a trail of calmness.
