[Sometime in the afternoon on June 1st, the door to the room slides open dramatically, revealing a very larger-than-life young man, who surveys the room with a bombastic air.]

So this is where I'll be living now! It's smaller than I expected... but it'll have to do!!

[Robin decided to take a quick nap, feeling a little tired from work earlier that day. The weather was so pleasant, her futon was so comfortable, and the room was so peaceful. How could she not start to drift off-- at least until the door slid open a voice boomed throughout the room.]

Huh-wha?! What's happening?!

[Startled awake, she pushed herself up, looking around the room frantically. Her vision hadn't focused yet, but something big was definitely standing by the door. She rubbed at her eyes... did he say something about living here?]

[nodyinteam]

[Dai guffaws in response as he looks towards the source of the voice.]

Gahaha! I live here now... I guess that's what's happening! ...Say, does that mean that you're my roommate?

[sing_for_me]

[The guy's voice was like thunder, but friendlier? Robin rubbed at her eyes, more awake now]

Oh, then yeah, we're room mates.

[She offers a smile and a small wave.]

I'm Robin. We've got two other roommates too. You'll probably bump into them later.

[nodyinteam]

[That's probably the best description of him in general.]

Robin, huh? And two other roommates... I see! Well, it's nice to meet you! I'm known as Dai! And I'm pretty new to these parts!

It's nice to meet you too, Dai.

[His energy was rather infectious. She didn't feel so drowsy anymore.]

[Not that he seemed like the hesitant sort. Robin moved off her futon and began fixing it up. It was probably a good time to get up.]

You seem to be taking this pretty well.

[He's better than an alarm clock! He takes a look around the room, but he keeps his attention focused on Robin.]

I appreciate the offer! I'll keep it in mind. [And he digs a pinky into his ear.]

Ha! I am taking it pretty well, aren't I? Well I signed up for this job, so it would be shameful for me to bellyache about it afterwards. No, I should make the best of this scenario!

That's..a really great way to think of it. I could learn a thing or two from you.

Well I'll be glad to teach a thing or two. And even more beyond that! I'm the Ultimate Team Manager, after all!

Team manager?

[So he was in charge of a team of sorts? Well, he did look like he was. Like a man that had gone through a lot. ]

I'm looking forward to it.

[nodyinteam]

That's right! I've managed all kinds of athletes and sports teams over the years. So I'm full of tips and exercise regimens!!

[He grins heartily.]

I'm looking forward to it too! If there's anything you want to improve on about yourself, or any sport that you wanna take on, I'm right here for you!!

[Oh, he was a coach?]

Ahaha, thanks. I'm not an athlete though. But that's really nice of you, Dai.

[He often ends up practically being one.]

Think nothing of it! And it doesn't matter if you're an athlete or not. I can do what I can to help you along any path that you choose for yourself!

[More than a sports coach, he sounds like a life coach. That was more applicable to her, now that she thought about it. She laughed at that realization.]

You know what? I actually might need that.

[He grins proudly at her response.]

Gahahaha! I thought you might say that. Then it's settled! I'll do everything that I can to help you to achieve your dreams. YOU WON'T REGRET HAVING DAI FOR A ROOMMATE!!
