[ If she made the water any hotter, she would burn herself. But it felt like no matter how much she srubbed, the shame she felt would never wash off. She could still feel his touch on her, and the very thought made her want to vomit. But she couldn’t break now. She was still going to be here for a while. And it wasn’t as if anything different waited for her after.

Alex comes out in the same dress, not having anything else to wear. Her hair was still wet as she made her way back to the chair she first sat on when she arrived.

She looks over at Eric, regarding him quietly. ]

How..long have you been here?

[ Eric stared at the wall as he heard the water going. He was used to this, just staring at nothing, trying to keep things going.

When she comes back out he doesn't respond to her presence until she asks him a question and he turns his head to her. He blinks, tilting his head as he thought. How long...had he been here? He didn't know days, and rarely saw any calendar or dates scattered about. ]

I...don't know...Two...three years?

[ She didn’t know what else to ask. Was it even okay to talk? But he didn’t get mad at her, and she really didn’t like the silence..]

And now she didn’t know what else to say. There weren’t people she could converse with normally. This was the most she’s gotten in god know how long. ]

[ His words came out uncertain, not even sure he should be talking. He hadn't been given an order to not speak so...maybe this was okay? He wasn't used to speaking so his words were jumbled and sentences were strange. But he tried all the same. ]
