Like how he'll straddle over her, while she's sleeping, and rest his forehead against hers. As a start to waking her up, even though it's about an hour before the time she needed to be awake. ]
Hey... You left the fridge locked again...
[ Probably because, if given the chance, he'll eat all the good stuff out of it overnight. Given that it's a cat, it's really hard to tell how domesticated a breed he really was. ]
no subject
Because you finished everything last time...right after I’d gone to the grocery.
no subject
[ And now that she was conscious, he eased back a bit to rest the side of his head against Alex's breast, arms sliding under to rest beneath her shoulders. With this change, she can see the tail slowly waving back and forth, flicking at the tip. ]
Besides, I was hungry and it all just tasted so good. After being on the streets, could you blame me?
no subject
[It wasn’t fair when he did that. It tugged at her heartstrings hard.]
I’ll prepare you something.
[She reaches up to stroke his head, brushing it back.]
But you’ll need to get up.
[Alex chuckles a little. He was surprisingly affectionate, not at all what she expected when she picked him up.]
no subject
His stomach won out, having him slink off of Alex's body to stand right by the bed. Only wearing the boxers, he did still look on that border of very lean to thin. While he'd put on a bare amount of weight since being brought in, he was definitely one of the leaner breeds out there. His body definitely wasn't because he was an active guy. ]
We have milk too, right?

Ways to show affection meme - kind of a wildcard but can go anywhere
[ Is the only word of warning he will give, even if his hands brushing around her neck and scalp could definitely cause some tickling. He's gathering her hair very carefully with patience, bordering almost on reverence, but the hint of a chuckle in his tone throws the seriousness of the scene down a bit. ]
It's going to take some time, to make a hairstyle like that-
[ There might have been a photo of a chic model with impressive medieval hairstyle full of braids and knots, and small decorations-- and he might have thrown an off-hand comment that he should still remember how to make something similar. One word led to another, and somehow Alex ended as the victim of a certain annoying god. ]
no subject
[But she's chuckling too, both from the ticklish feel of his fingers and his scolding. She didn't think he'd be so serious about it. Although she is curious about the state of her hair at this moment.]
Did you used to do this for someone?
I wanted to go romantic angle- but he's of course going to answer this question -_(\
Emer liked it when I experimented on her hair.
AHAHAHA
[She tilts her head back to look up at him.]
no subject
Then he puts his hand on her cheek to steer her head back to the previous settings- he just started to separate the strands he was going to use, and now half of them are gone- ]

Strays Connecting
He heard footsteps coming closer and his eyes snapped open and went to the door as it opened. He was ready.
'Get up mutt. Come.'
Eric scrambled to his feet as fast as he could. He couldn't be slow, slow meant bad, and bad meant pain. He fell right behind the man in a Heel as he was led to the gangs open area in the warehouse/hideout. He tilted his head, that's right. Something big was happening today, another gang leader was coming. Talks about some drugs. He had to stay by his Owners side in case of anything, and to be shown off. Gang leaders always were impressed by the little obedient dog.
A knife was handed to him. His weapon. In case of anything, betrayal, or simply entertainment. He nodded and went over to his Owner, awaiting orders as he pocketed the knife behind his back.
'Sit'
Eric sat quietly on the floor, just to the side and front of his Owners chair. He felt a hand pat him on the head and his stomach twisted in both disgust and pride knowing he did the right thing. He began to talk to the others and Eric tuned out, only hearing certain bits in case he was called.
The others would arrive soon ]
no subject
She sat quietly in the car, her gaze at her lap as Barry reminded her that she "better behave." ]
If I don't hear some good reviews, you can expect more intense training when you get back.
[ Alex remained still, until he grabbed her face and jerked it to face him. ]
You hear me, Alex? Don't fuck this up.
[ Though her eyes looked vacant, she nodded obediently.
They arrive eventually, his men exiting first, then Barry, then Alex right behind him. They walk into what looks like a warehouse, greeted by other men showing off their guns. They're guided inside where more men awaited them. Alex kept her head low, knowing better than to stare too much.
Barry wasn't the least bit fazed by the show of arms, especially since he would do the same. It was important to establish one's turf, just as important as it was to show respect without fear. He'd picked out his best suit, rings adorning his fingers and a gold chain around his neck.]
Glad we could finally meet in person, Hizawa. I must say, you know how to gear up your men.
no subject
[ Although he bowed and greeted the man, his eyes were soon on the girl, very impressed with the sight. While they continued in some more small talk and greetings, he snapped his fingers and Eric snapped to attention. ]
Get the drinks.
[ He didn't need to be told twice as he stood up fast, moving towards the area where they keep the good alcohol, mostly for when guests were here or it was a particular celebration.
He retrived the bottle and a few sake glasses onto a tray before heading over and placing them on the table between the chairs. This wasn't part of his normal duties but he was suppose to obey. He began to pour as best as he could but the bottle was awkward in his small hands and a small splash occured when he tilted the bottle too much on one of the cups.
Eric stiffened as he saw the few drops that had missed the cup, before he heard a snap of his owners fingers and he looked his way. There was a dark look in his eyes and Eric's stomach twisted. He saw the hand point down to his spot on the floor and he obediently returned to it.
He felt a hand on his head that tightened on his scalp. He didn't flinch but he knew that there was going to be a punishment when they were alone.
Though he knew his owner was angry he heard him laugh. ]/small>
This mutt can kill people without any problem but still can't pour a glass of sake.
[ A few of the other members chuckled along as Eric stared blankly at the ground. ]
Now theb, shall we begin?
no subject
The only time she looked up again was when she heard fingers snapping, a reflex, but it wasn’t Barry’s fingers. She watched as the young boy moved to pour out the gang leaders’ drinks. An errand boy? He looked so young.
The way the boy stiffened when the drinks splashed had Alex’s throat tighten. While the other man laughed it off, she could see how he gripped the other boy. Kill..? Him..?
Barry chuckled, seemingly relating to his future business partner’s plight. ]
Who says you can’t teach ‘em new tricks?
[ They spoke, they drank, they laughed like two peas in a pod, as if there weren’t any hidden agendas lurking beneath the table. Alex stood a few feet behind Barry’s chair, tuning out their voices until she heard him. ]
Alex, come here.
[ Her heels clack against the cement floor as she makes her way to his side. ]
Since you’ll be letting us try your product, I thought I’d let you try one of mine. She’s young, but she’s skilled, I made sure of that. She’s sturdy too, so feel free to do what you want with her.
no subject
Oh hooo...Well, if you're so kindly offering, how am I to say no? Seems to be a delightful little mouse.
[ Eric glanced up at what was being offered and blinked blankly. Another girl. They sometimes popped up here and there with the others or his owner, and it wasn't uncommon for other gangs to trade their goods as a show of good faith. Eric had been part of a few trades himself. ]
I will gladly take you on that offer. We can finalize some more things while this mutt can take her upstairs, if that is alright with you?

The Morning After Meme
Huh. What brought this about? When he opens his eyes, he finds the room oddly bright. Beside him is a lady with dark skin and long, black hair.
First, this isn't his room. He's not at home.
Second, had Oda and the lady been lying together this whole time, or had he been too tired or poisoned to notice her joining him? Why are last night's events such a blur?
In any case, he doesn't have a clear view of her face, and they don't appear to be in any immediate danger. So he lies still, remaining calm, and waits.]
no subject
After all, there was no way there’d be someone else in her bed. Even if she can’t seem to remember how she even got into bed. Was she dreaming? She reaches out, poking at what might be his face. ]
no subject
[His voice is low; his reaction, muted. Her prodding doesn't really hurt much, but she is still going for his face.
In a deadpan voice,] Careful. Might put someone's eye out.

Discussed wildcard - making out heck yeah
Agitation, horniness, they're adjacent states of being and the drive back to their apartment - a scant twenty minutes and the traffic lights are on their side - feels too long. Ginia wets her lips, exhales, tries not to look at Alex sitting in the passenger seat.
Alex is beautiful, gorgeous, stunning, exquisite, a full alphabet of adjectives with new ones every day. Ginia knows she's lucky in many, many ways, but right now luck feels more like the pool of heat churning up her insides, because fuck does Alex look amazing in a suit.
It isn't even a full suit, only a formal server's outfit with a waistcoat and black tie, but the way Alex fills out the outfit is impeccable. Never has Ginia resolve in finishing a job been tested, never has Ginia wanted so bad to tug Alex off to a broom closet or bathroom stall and abandon everything.
But professionalism and getting paid can trump raging hormones. Besides, maybe Alex wouldn't like it. Alex isn't glass, but Ginia knows she's been through a lot (and hell, so has she) and doesn't want to become another mistake and bad memory in her life.
Twenty minutes. Fifteen. Ten. Five. They pull into the parking structure of their apartment, the lights of their car flooding the dim garage as Ginia pulls the car into their space. Her hands grip the wheel for a few seconds even after she turns off the ignition, staring ahead before suddenly unbuckling her seat-belt and getting out the car, still not looking at Alex.]
no subject
If she said that out loud, would Ginia look at her? She's about to say something when Ginia parks and just gets out. Alex quickly unbuckles, following after her. She catches up when they reach the door, and she takes hold of Ginia's hand, tugging on it to stop her. ]
Ginia..is everything okay..?
no subject
Yet as Ginia forces herself to look at Alex, she swallows hard. Alex's blue sky eyes are too worried, too concerned, and Ginia feels her mouth turn into a smile to put her at ease. Her eyes continue to move down, lingering on Alex's mouth, her neck, the crisp white collar and black tie crossing over skin, the curve of her breasts under the button-down shirt and black vest.
Back up, back up. Ginia's eyes flick back up and she nods, hand closing around Alex's as she fumbles for her keys to let them into the apartment. It's small, but comfortable, cozy, their own little space carved out (and yet, if the moment rises, they could abandon it in a moment and move on).
Ginia releases Alex's hands only to unlace her shoes, nudging them against the wall and wiggling her free toes. She straightens and looks at Alex.]
You're beautiful. I can't believe how beautiful you are and I want you and that scares me because I'm afraid I'll hurt you.
[The words spill free one after another, fingers signing swiftly but close to her chest, eyes slightly averted, cheeks beginning to burn hot.]
no subject
You won't. You never could.
[ She releases one of her hands to reach up and cup Ginia's cheek, rubbing her thumb over her cheek. It was funny, how hearing those words didn't bother her this time. Probably because of who was saying it.]
Also...[ Alex chuckles, a little bashful, but she steps even closer. ] I had a really hard time keeping my eyes off you tonight.

TFS!AU
Though he's not even sure what to do with it now—he'd lost the right to live in it long before arriving at the Far Shore. Oda knows because he's been searching since his arrival and has yet to see any sign of them. Kousuke, Katsumi, Yu, Shinji, Sakura; none of them are here. Meanwhile, Oda is not only here but is also told he's the representative of a god. It's an unexpected development for someone so lacking in ambition, someone whose bloody hands are marred with violence as he meanders through the meaningless void of a second life.
Speaking of which, how can he fill that void? Without seeing either the orphans or the man who took everything from Oda, there seems little point in not trying to. It's just a matter of puzzling it out and finding his drive to work toward whatever the solution may be. Since he'd done it once before, Oda figures he can do it again no matter how much time it takes. At this rate, he has all the time in the world.
The summer rainy season soon will transform into typhoon season. Currently, it's the calm before the storm. The oppressively warm, unmoving air and humidity form an unseen weight making it a little difficult to breathe even for those used to it. Though raindrops fall here or there, the sky continues to withhold reprieve from the suffocating atmosphere. Despite the choking, wet weather, Oda's still wearing his usual taupe jacket, black shirt, and gray pants as he takes another stroll through the Heavens.
