[ After everything she did, Alex wouldn't blame her for avoiding her. She's grateful that Chandra wanted to meet, and relieved when she gets a hug even. Reaching around, she returns the hug, letting out a relaxed sigh. ]

It's really nice to you again. I..should have gone to see you sooner, really.

p She pulls away, but only to hand the basket to her. ]

I wanted to apologize for last time...

[Chandra takes the basket, and cocks her head to the side.]

Why? you didn't do anything wrong.

[She snorts a little laugh, thumping her chest with a hand.]

I was the one that screwed up.

[ Alex looks at her, surprised at the claim. ]

But you didn't--It's my fault you even went that way...You were trying to help me out, and I...

[ Took advantage of that. ]

...gave me exactly what I was looking for.

[She finishes.]

Alex. I haven't...it's...really complicated but I haven't actually had real physical contact with another person since I got here.

[ Her words leave Alex speechless for a moment. She hadn't expected Chandra to feel that way about the incident, far from it in fact.

When she does manage some words, the confusion can still be heard in her voice. ]

But I didn't..I didn't have to go that far. And my intentions were...selfish.

[ There was nothing wrong with wanting physical contact, and Chandra deserved whatever touch she wanted. But the circumstances surrounding it, the person involved, that didn't sit well with her. ]

[Chandra reaches out for Alex's hand, closing a glove gently around it.]

So it may have been selfish on both our ends. I'm not upset with you, either way.
