[ Oh no

Uncertain, nervous, and definitely afraid, Alex does the brave thing and puts her watch down on the table, then makes her way to her bed to hide underneath the covers.

Maybe...maybe that'll come off as her being busy. And that way, she doesn't have to outright lie to Sokie. Good plan. ]

[Yeah she. Waits for a few minutes, in case Alex needed to use the bathroom or something. Then:]

Alex

Alex I'm going to find you if you don't pick up

I'll make good on my threat

Alleeeeeeeeex

[ She hears the ping of her watch.

But she "doesn't hear it". Nope. She is "asleep".

This feels so rude...but she doesn't know what to say.How can she possibly face Sokie?

She peaks from underneath the blanket, only to pull it over her face again. She can't. Just leave it. Sokie will stop and move on to do more important things. ]

[Alex doesn't get how stubborn Sokie can be

Nor of how she's really in the mode of getting things done. So...she does go with the last message of:]

I warned you

[Before she conducts her search for a certain little merrow. And...goes to jimmy the lock of Alex's door after checking to see if it was locked.

Oops?]

[ The next ping is met with more curling up under the covers and a silent apology.

For a moment, she almost drifts off, only to be woken up by the sound of her door unlocking. She takes a sharp breath, the thoughts of being taken away returning. She quickly reaches out for the metal pan she had by her bedside (a precaution) and pulls it in with her. There's not really any where for her to hide, and she can't move fast because of her injuries. So if anything, she can pretend to be asleep, then take them by surprise. ]

[And the door is pushed open, and...

There's a loud, gusty sigh as Sokie kicks the door closed behind her, before a light comes up, over her head. And it's Sokie, a hand on her hip, the other tapping her fingers against her thigh.]

Alex, I did warn you I'd track you down if you ghosted me. It's tiiiiiime...for the kissy noises....!

[ Alex flinches as the door slams shut, but the next surprise is hearing the familiar voice.

She really came?! What does ghosted mean? Is that another term for rudely ignoring someone?

It felt like she had two options right now; face her, or keep "sleeping".

But either way...wouldn't kissy noises still happen? She had to be joking, right? Surely no grown woman would do something so childish to another adult.

Latter option it was, though she sticks to hugging the pan close to her. ]

[Alex really doesn't know the lengths that Sokie will go huh.

Because she's already kicking off her shoes-because being sneaky would mean she'd get hit with something- and she's moving forward, with a shield spell in case Alex throws something out of fright.]

It's Sokie~! I'm making good on my promise~! C'mon Alex, show me you're hereeeee!

[And she. Makes a loud kissing noise.

It's happening.]

[ She hugs the pan tighter the louder the noise becomes, although she has no intention of hitting Sokie with it. It had to be a bluff. She would stop as soon as she got to the bed.

Sokie wasn't the only stubborn one. ]

[There's more kissy noises...kissy noises...ooooh the kissy noises are getting closer...!

She's crawling onto the bed with all the kissy noises and then....silence.

Not for long.]

Smoochie smoochie! Who wants a kiss!

[ The bed creaks from the added weight, and Alex finds herself faced with two choices. Either to believe Sokie's bluffing, or to get ahead of it. The pressure was on, and well, Alex was a gambling fish now. She's set her bet.

Then...the silence.

It was long enough that she got curious, and she slowly peeks from beneath the blankets.

A mistake. ]

Aha! There you are!

[A wiggle butt and...a...pounce! And guess who is making kissy noises up to Alex's ear? That's right. It's Sokie.]

Kissy kissy kissy!

S-Sokieee!!

[ This felt a lot like karma for what happened that one full moon. She wriggles in the confines of her blanket, realizing that her shield is now a trap keeping her in place.

Her heart rate was picking up and she could feel her face start to get warmer. Alex knew this wasn't an attack, and yet, it felt like one. An affectionate one. And she didn't know what to do with such affection.

It wasn't like when Worrick would get handsy with her in his sleep---actually, it kind of was like that--but she wasn't going to fight off Sokie. ]

I'm sorry! I'm sorry for ignoring your message!!

[Yeah there was a lot of kissy noises and tickling through the blankets. No real harm, but it was a really great revenge. It's very loud, and to those that are less tolerant...annoying.

She wasn't surprised that Alex wasn't fighting back. Girl was just so passive.]

This is what you get for ghosting me! How rude!

[ She wasn't going to fight back, at least, not until Sokie started tickling. That called for self-defense. ]

S-Sokie! Don't--Stop!! Please!!

[ She's going between crying out and laughing as she's assaulted by those fingers. Even through the fabric, somehow just the thought of getting tickled has her kicking her legs.The excess movement does make her wince though, her wounds still a little tender. ]

Ow--

[She laughed, and would have kept going but-the wince had Sokie stop. Pause. Eye her.

And moved to rip off the covers.]

So you still need help. Knew it.

Ah--!

[ Her body curls up instinctively as her only shield was tossed aside. ]

It's just 'cause I moved a lot--I'm fine--

[ As fine as she could be, anyway. But she didn't want Sokie to fuss over her. Actually, she didn't understand why she would. ]

There are..there are others you should be helping!

Is that a pan?

[Sorry Alex, she's here and she's looking at everything. She may even admire the pan bit! At that, she huffed, and made to flick Alex on the forehead.]

No can do buckeroo. Asura asked me in a daze to look out for you specifically. Can't say no to a sincere request from bae.

Besides, I'll be going back after this to check on the progress of what I'm doing with him after this. He'll want a report on you.

[ Alex holds her pan, offended. Not everyone keeps daggers or swords on their person!

But what she says next about Asura changes the expression on her face to something more somber and remorseful. Why would he ask--Of course he would. He was kind like that. Too kind...And then there was Sokie who was willing to go through all this trouble for someone so troublesome. ]

Is he...how is he? Are you..also alright?

[ Alex hadn't even considered that Sokie might have been taken as well. She hadn't seen her in any of the cells, but she does proper herself up a little to get a look at Sokie. ]

[Hey, a pan isn't a bad weapon! Good lil feesh, she armed herself.

But this fretting, while the decent person answer, still makes Sokie sigh.]

Oh, I'm relieved you're all all right. Little tired.

Asura still needs some work done. But he can be fixed. He'll have to take it easy for awhile.

But now, strip.

[ There's a bit of relief in hearing that both of them are doing alright, but her the tension in her body leaves only for a second when Sokie gives the command. ]

Ex--Excuse me?

Strip.

[She made a grabby gesture with her hands.]

I need to see everything if it's going to be set to rights.

It--It's fine--!

[ She says oh so convincingly as she winces while trying to cross her arms over herself. Her burns were rubbing against her clothes and the bed covers uncomfortably now too for all her squirming. It really wasn't good that she was on her back either. ]

I'll..I'll put the ointment later....

[ Yes, very convincing. ]

They're...not very nice to look at...

[Sokie huffed gently, and leaned in. But she was gentle as she took a strand of Alex's hair in between her fingers.]

I don't really care if it's bad to look at. I want to look out for you Alex.

[And just to lighten the mood:]

I can't seduce you like this. I want to hear moans of pleasure, not pain.

[ Her eyes and body had softened at Sokie's show of concern and the careful gesture, enough that she almost felt that maybe she should allow Sokie to check her out and help-- and just like that, the moment was gone.

Grabbing the pillow behind her, she shoves it in Sokie's face. ]
