[She's thankful for the distraction, just realizing she had let that slip out. The kiss makes her heart flutter, but doesn't stop her from feeling the spines of his cock graze her as he pulls out, making her shudder.

It was probably a good thing to have him get the kit, since her legs felt like jello right now.]

You shouldn't thank the one that hurt you in the first place...

[ He was going to wear that guilt for a little while. Though as he returns with the kit and the dampened cloth, he dabs at the area to keep from agitating the bite. He should've known better- he knew his teeth were sharp enough to do that. ]

[She winces a little when he starts dabbing at it, but gets used to the feeling quickly enough.]

It stings a little but it doesn’t hurt that much.

[ He recoils, but his head still tilts towards Alex. He's not sure what he wants- enjoying the comfort, but still feeling like he deserved some kind of punishment. ]

There's a difference between the nipping and drawing blood, though. I don't wanna...

Then we can just be careful next time, okay? I'll let you know if it feels like you're biting too hard.

You couldn't tell before though, could you?

[ In fact, if she liked him biting her, wasn't there the chance of him- No, he didn't want to imagine that. ]

er...it might be...because it..felt good..

[She glanced to the side, feeling a bit ashamed of admitting that.]

[ Oh... Oh no. While it's great to know what she liked, he didn't want it to be anything painful. What if he caused an infection? Which is probably why he's using that rubbing alcohol a little too liberally on the bite. ]

I don't want to draw blood every time we're together though, Alex... What if it gets really bad?

I’m not saying to— Ow!

[She breathes in sharply, wincing when he presses the alcohol soaked towel to the wound.]

[ That certainly got his ears back. Though he's blowing lightly onto the area to sooth the pain of that. He doesn't want her to hurt, but that's really clashing with not wanting that bite to get infected.

If it did, he'd send himself to the pound. ]

[Alex chuckles softly.]

I'll live. Maybe just put a bandage over it. I'm sure it'll be fine.

I'm gonna make sure it's completely cleaned first...

[ Shizuo, you've more than done that. Just put some neosporin on and bandage it up. ]

You did fine, Shizuo. Just cover it up. Give it a few days and I won't even feel it. It's not like you broke anything.

I did though. That's how you're bleeding in the first place.

[ You'd have to break skin to cause bleeding, after all. But he'll relent to put the ointment on before some bandages to cover the bite mark. ]

I meant bones. Skin's not such a big deal. Heals fast enough. Bones take longer.

[She'll keep her head tilted to make it easier for him to apply the ointment, stretching her neck from side to side once he was done bandaging it.]

See? Everything's fine.

[ He's just gonna be worried until it's healed and proven to not be infected. Get ready for the healing purrs during all your down times, Alex. ]

[She cups his face between her hands and brings him closer to kiss him on the forehead.]

You're rarely mad...

[ It's sort of what makes him feel safe with you, but sometimes he feels like he'd deserve it if you were at the same time. They're probably both hungry though, so that's a thing he should move towards. ]

You, uh, want me to take over prepping dinner while you clean up?

...That’s a good idea.

[Pushing herself off the table, Alex steadies herself on her feet. Shizuo had a way of making her feel weak in the knees. She could feel a trail of come dripping down her thigh.]

Maybe um..clean the counter and table first.

[She’ll make her way to the bathroom to clean up, contemplating her life choices. It was one thing doing it with her cat..but now even in the kitchen? Not to say she didn’t enjoy it.]

Yeah, just leave it to me.

[ At the very least, he'll clean the counter before getting all the cutting finished up. Given his position, it was only natural that he didn't question those kinds of choices- he was acting on instinct and off of impulse, and it just seemed to be working out.

Save for the biting thing- he had to work on that. Otherwise, he saw nothing wrong with how things were. ]

[At least it wouldn’t take too long to cook the meal. She had to admit, the bite did throb a bit, but it wasn’t something she couldn’t handle.]

Ah... Not that I always do, but it's kind of the urge I get. With other cats it's, uh, cuz the female's in heat. So it's... Y'know, let's not think too much on it.
